Jim Willsher is sa.global’s Chief Technology Officer and has been with the company since 2004. Jim has a strong technical background, both around development and supporting infrastructure, and brings these skills to drive and align the technical strategy across the organization.

After graduating with a ‘first-class’ degree, Jim spent nine years in the world of RPG development, working with IBM AS/400 systems and implementing the JBA software stack for a number of customers. Hungry to move across to emerging technologies, Jim joined sa.global as a developer, cross-training to the Microsoft Dynamics AX development ecosystem. Gaining experience, both with the package and customer implementations, and progressing to the role of Technical Lead, he continues to remain in touch with current technologies.

Jim lives in Scotland with his wife and their two Labrador dogs. They enjoy the fresh air and free space that is abundant in Scotland. On good weather days, he enjoys gardening and wildlife watching, and if it’s raining, which happens a lot in Scotland, he and his wife enjoy cooking fresh food together.
