At sa.global, we have long embraced the need to shift patterns from the traditional ways of working – whether it is new ideas, innovative solutions to challenges, different ways of working, or finding the right competencies.
For example, in our journey towards building a progressive workplace, we have put aside traditional hiring practices of hiring people only in the locations where we have physical offices. We simply hire the best people we can find wherever they are and not where we are. And we have done so for decades, well before “remote working” or even COVID-forced work-from-home made this a norm. This approach has not only helped us find the right talent, but also enabled us to deliver better value to our clients as we have not been limited by office locations.
With our consultants working from either client sites or their home offices, we obviously have had a lot of experience in managing this remote working environment. This has held us in good stead, especially during the COVID-19 crisis, when at some points almost our entire workforce was working remotely. Not only did we easily adapt to this new way of working, but we also ensured service continuity to our clients with remote UATs and implementations, virtual go-live assistance, and workshops.
Our progressive outlook has thus helped us create a culture that recognizes and celebrates our employees’ abilities to create value for themselves and the business and designed an environment to help them achieve more.
As we celebrate completing over 30+ years as a company, we are publishing stories that have been part of tribal lore and served as an inspiration to everyone at sa.global. These stories epitomize what it is that makes us who we are and ultimately has led to us being so successful at what we do.
